The Harlem Valley Compassion Connection, Inc is happy to provide school supplies for local community members in need. We assist low-income families as well as those who may have experienced emergencies or parent/guardian underemployment.
We are honored to continue the annual School Supply Drive that Cindy Snow-Pitts began a number of years ago. These supplies are collected and distributed throughout the Dover and Webutuck School Districts to students entering grades Pre-K through 12. This includes students in Special Education programs and students who are homeschooled. The annual event typically runs July through August with distribution to local families happening late August the week before the school year begins.

If you would like to make a donation, please call or text us and if it is outside of our Summer Drive time, we can arrange a time to meet up.
We also accept donations of new school supplies all year round, and we also accept monetary donations of cash, check, Venno payments, and gift cards that we can use to purchase more supplies.

School supply closet
The Harlem Valley Compassion Connection, Inc is happy to provide school supplies for local community members in need. We assist low-income families as well as those who may have experienced emergencies or parent/guardian underemployment. Eligible students must be in grades Pre-K through 12th Grade and attend classes in the Dover or Webutuck School Districts. (Need-based exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis).
Our School Supply closet in Amenia, New York is now open year-round. Although our primary school supply distribution happens through our Annual School Supply Drive, students and parents/guardians can request additional supplies like notebooks, art supplies, writing utensils, and backpacks. Supplies are subject to availability, but we will get them to you as quickly as possible.
